Peckforton Castle is a Victorian castle built from red sandstone in the Cheshire countryside near Tarporley — and few backdrops make crazy golf look quite so dramatic. We lay the course out on the lawn in front of the battlements, right beside where guests gather after the ceremony, so it becomes the natural place to mingle during the drinks reception. The crisp white holes stand out against the red stone walls and heraldic banners, giving your photographer a genuinely different shot from the usual castle portraits. With the full nine holes spread along the lawn, there’s room for plenty of guests to play at once while others watch from the courtyard.
