Barns & Yard is a restored Tudor barn venue at Hanley Hall in the Worcestershire countryside. The site dates back to the 12th century, and the barns and hall still have their original timber framing, plasterwork and stone fireplaces, now finished with contemporary luxury touches by the sisters who run it. With a courtyard, lake, gardens and farm cottages, the whole place is yours on an exclusive-use basis. We set our luxury Signature course out on the lawn beside the barns, under big mature trees and a weeping willow, with the lake nearby. It’s a sunny, relaxed spot where guests can drift over with a drink and cheer each other on.

Our packages cost £529 to £1,029 and are fully hosted, with delivery, set-up and pack-down included. Travel is free within 30 miles of our base near Nottingham, then 70p per mile for the extra miles there and back; we’ll confirm the exact price for Barns & Yard when you check your date.

How much space does the course need?

About 10 × 5 metres of level lawn, gravel, paving or indoor floor. It needs no power, and we can tailor the layout to fit the space at Barns & Yard.

What happens if it rains?

We agree a wet-weather plan with Barns & Yard in advance. If torrential rain means we can’t provide the experience you booked, you receive a full refund, including your deposit.
